About Us
Beginning
Verso was started in 2008 by three former competitive teammates and creative athletes of the Dade County Blue Sharkettes in Miami, FL. Now we are lead by Monica Lopez De Victoria, who is a multi-media artist as well as a synchronized swimming performer for over 30 years.
Name
Verso is Latin for reverse or back of an object. It is also the name for the left-hand page of an open book or manuscript. When collectors read that a work of art is signed on the Verso, it means that the artist has preferred to sign her work on the back
Water
As synchro performers, we love the water and flowing poetic movements. During swim shows you can see our beautiful mermaid moves! We bring awareness to the importance of water and our human connection to it. The issues of sea level rising and water quality are important to us
